Abstract |
Recently, balanced regional development and newtown projects are actively pursued as parts of urban regeneration efforts. Under this situation, this paper examines the issues and activation plans in multi-dimensionalizing urban space. This study reviews techniques of Multidimensional Urban Planning in LU1 City, implemented by Incheon City, and draws three major issues about activation plans of multi-dimensional urban planning. First, the National Property Law and the Public Ownership Property and Management of Goods Law should be revised in order to have composite development of urban planning facility and non-urban planning facility. Second, other laws about urban planning and construction should include three-dimensional space planning. Third, there should be an exception so that areas of pedestrian decks or transparent glass roofs could be excluded in calculating totla building areas. |
