| Abstract |
The purposes of this research are as follows: 1) analyzing the causes and problems of the actual state that many universities which are located in the downtown area in Korea play a restrictive and identical role, 2) exploring the alternative approaches which are helpful to a win-win between city and university and makes the environs of university better. The processes of research are as follows. First, capturing character of Campus Town by theoretical analysis, Second analyzing the various problems and solution by doing site analysis around Inha Univ. area, Finally in-depth study of Design plan concerning basic analysis. This research concludes that campus town seemed it has very low connections and influences despite of their cultural and economical advantages. This research also insists that suggested solution was sustainable R&D of specific industry; for instance Inha Univ. was able to perform much cultural effect. Also for the connection and fluent performance broad design and long term strategy should be considered. |
