| Abstract |
Recently, the responsibility and role of public sector are being emphasized to resolve the problems and conflicts, which were occurred in the Urban Redevelopment Project of Yongsan. This paper studied about the methods to intensify the role of public sector and improve the process of Urban Redevelopment Projects. The research methods consist of review of existing studies, brainstorming of experts and Analytic Network Process(ANP). The results show that the role of public sector concerning project management and public contribution must be strengthened in the Urban Redevelopment Projects. More specifically, the followings are suggested: reinforcement of public sector’s role as project coordinator, better management of projects with low economic feasibility, standardized guidelines and process, small unit redevelopment, consistent management of projects, better support for tenants, and the investment of public capitals in the early stage. |
