| Abstract |
The researches on the topic of Hahoe Village started in earnest since Hahoe Village Research Report had been published in 1979 and the village was designated as important cultural asset in 1984. Notwithstanding some of landscape elements in the Joseon era, Hahoe Village does not keep its originality in whole. It is the fundamental and significant work to clarify how the landscapes of Hahoe Village have been changed. To this end, this study clarified how the landscape elements in Hahoe Village have been changed. It examined how Mansongjeong, Samsindang, Nampohonggyo, Fences, Point bars have been changed during the modern period and what those meant to the village. Future researchers could recognize that the landscapes of Hahoe Village are not the same as those of Hahoe Village in Joseon era. This understanding will contribute to distinguish the changed landscape elements in Hahoe Village. |
