| Abstract |
This design?driven research aims at proposing the spatial prototype of future urban community, combining ubiquitous and eco?friendly technologies. The spatial model of U?Eco City TOD (Transit Oriented Development) Community is defined as a community life zone, realized by service networking between ubiquitous technology, a mass transit system, a pedestrian?oriented street system, mixed land use, and sustainability. The U?Eco City TOD Community is characterized by well?connected network of ‘polies.’ The polies have their own role to fulfill requirements of U?Eco City TOD Community. The poly system is a core of UEco City TOD Community network. The system consists of 1 Cyber Poly, 4 Bicycle Polies, 16 Farming and Community Polies, and 16 Farming Structures(vertical farms). In conclusion, this U?Eco City TOD Community is proposed as a spatial model, focused on convenience, safety, sustainability, and amenity for residents, while reflecting the change of lifestyle and social needs in coming future by applying ubiquitous and eco?friendly technologies. |
