| Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to establish the assessment indicator for the environment-friendly neighborhood development and the assessment system corresponding to the national agenda, “Green Growth”. This research contains overview about theories related to environment-friendly development, development projects within neighborhood scale, analysis about legislations and systems related to environment-fiendly development in Korea, and assessment systems for environment-friendly neighborhood development in advanced countries such as U.S., U.K., Japan, etc. As a result, this research have selected 58 appropriate indicators for environment-friendly assessment, categorized them into four parts, namely, location, design, technology and communities, and carried out a survey for priority analysis using AHP method. This research has meaning that if organized indicators for environment-friendly assessment, suggested credits for environment-friendly neighborhood development, and thus started the process of establishing assessment for environment-friendly development in neighborhood scale. |
