Abstract |
Recently, climate change has appeared with urbanization as an worldwide problem. In Korea, city inundation damages caused by a localized torrential downpour have been repeated, and a proper correspondence is required. So the trial to reinforce the urban resilience using urban planning facilities is planned by the government. Therefore, this research has an aim to solve this problem by deriving design principles for urban resilience using school facilities. For this research, associated standards, papers, and domestic and abroad cases have been carefully analyzed, then design principles by which school facilities are able to perform urban resilience have been derived. As a result of this research, in urban design, a school location in neighborhood and a composition, in outdoor, design principles of playground and pedestrian street were suggested. And in indoor, a space program for utilizing class rooms and a gym as a refuge shelter are also proposed. In the future, detailed design techniques, a pragmatic hydraulic model simulation, a policy systematization, an applicable case study are expected to be promoted. |
