Abstract |
This research tries to propose respective scenarios by examining and applying planning elements for reducing predicted CO₂ emission, while forecasting CO₂ emission of Saemangeum Multifunctional City development plan through the existing CO₂ emission formula. Furthermore, it aims to suggest suitable scenarios for Saemangeum Multifunctional City development plan, and also carbon reduction urban planing and design of undeveloped lands by applying analyzed cost data according to proposed scenarios. The research was proceeded with four steps of analyzing preceding researches, examining expressions and predicting energy needs, predicting CO₂ emission and proposing scenarios, and drawing optimum scenario in contrast to expenses for analyzing CO₂ emission of the initial plan for undeveloped lands. As the result of the research, presented the most energy reduction effect of 35.55toe/million won per a year. The research was carried out based on the initial plan for Saemangeum Multifunctional City of undeveloped lands, and predicted CO₂ emission through forecasting thermoelectric energy consumption, which is a significant contribution to previous researches. Furthermore, The research applied and examined techniques and scenarios for calculating and reducing CO₂ emission in terms of scenario analysis that considered additional cost on the above-mentioned contents. |
