| Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to analyze recognition and characteristics about Single-family housing among Apartment residents in Shin-kil, Ansan. To carry out this study, our research team defined 'Single-family houses' by contrary concept of apartment. And, divided two group of respondents, prefer Single-family house or not, to survey the pros and cons. From it, deduced characteristic about apartment dwellers who prefer the 'Single-family hous'. According to this result, percentage of intent for living Single-family house was 61.7%. On the basis of it, respondents was divided preferred and non preferred groups and we verified theirs difference. The first group, prefer Single-family house, preferred suburban areas and garden city. Also they had great interest about Single-family house. Because they sensed sensitively not only strong point but also weak point in comparison with the other non preferrd group. In question of plan for moving house, that group show a higher tendency about move to Single-family house. The most of respondent of the preferred group were male who live in low-rise and can drive. Unlike previous study, however, did not appeared discriminatory factors caused by age or income. Rather Single-Family Housing was preferred at all classes and expected it's vitalization. |
