| Abstract |
This study evaluates the impact of the Low-rise Housing Improvement Program through a comprehensive analysis of its social, physical, and economic aspects. The target area of this study is Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, which is the first pilot case for the Low-rise Housing Improvement Program. The result in this study are the following. The result in this study are the following. the Project Promotion Council participated in the project aggressively. Second, Construction works became active after founding district unit plan. Third, the marketing area was formed around the road-park road. As a result, the Low-rise Housing Improvement Program can be considered social regeneration and physical Regeneration, and it was effective in fostering economic regeneration. However, many unexpected problems exist and proper management is needed. This study was carried out so that the Low-rise Housing Improvement Program can proceed well. In the future, it must be analyzed in a comprehensive manner by using a number of cases. |
