| Abstract |
This study aims to verify the possibility of comprehensive urban design through urban and architecture design guidelines. It is done by analyzing how the guidelines were applied during conditioned land supplying process which the land is supplied through design proposals. The results are as follows : First, the skylines(height and story regulations) and view corridor guidelines are valid for silhouette control in architectural mass design. Second, place-making strategies via story-telling in each zone are worked well figuring out similar images and requirements based on performance(location for vertical movements, specs for set-back, etc). Third, Life-Zone 1-5 of Central Commercial Area, as the first case to sell commercial area through design proposal, is a significant ‘pre design-after selling’ case that it improves publicness through urban and place design. |
