Abstract This study has analyzed the characteristics of the studio's citizen learning program focused on resident participation urban schools in Daegu. In this study, the characteristics through analysis of six items, essential items in the program were derived as implications. First, the role of the participating members needs to be expanded throughout the program. Second, the lectures and teaching methods need to be more diversified and characterized. Third, it is necessary to introduce intermediate organization for active citizen participation and ongoing programs. Fourth, in addition to physical improvement projects, it requires planning related to the improvement of living and level of consciousness of the inhabitants. Fifth, it is necessary to operate a program with the purpose of purely learning, not for the purpose of developing and implementing new business.
