Abstract The purpose of this study is to review the possibility of introducing the Community Land Trust (CLT) system and to suggest implications by integrating domestic case studies. Reviewed case studies include ① Ildong, Ansan case 'beyond the fence', ② cooperative housing and social housing cases, ③ public sector led REITs case in Seoul, ④ management cases such as rental housing in Youngju city, and ⑤ Peace Market case in Gimcheon Urban Regeneration Project Site. The case studies emphasized the need to introduce the concept of CLT, when community-led community assets are formed and operated. It is highly possible to use CLT in the affordable housing supply sector and stressed the effectiveness of public support for initial land supply. In addition, the necessity of finding various applications of the REITs-type trust business with publicity is derived, and it is discussed that cooperation of local governments would be important. The possibility of flexible linking CLT to community space and area management is highlighted as an inheritance after the completion of urban regeneration project. The consideration of linking CLT to idle local assets for long-term lease utilization is also highlighted.
