| Abstract |
Recently the government made an announcement of a reflection on the Life SOC’s budget, 8.7 trillion won in 2019’s total budget, 470 trillon won. Life SOC is the terminology standing for facilities supporting social service which is closely connected to the quality of life, such as welfare service, medical service, housing supply, environmental services, and town management for disabled and elderly. The consensus on the use of facilities and the academic approach on the concept of Life SOC is not fully established even if the term is widely used for policy development, including the academic and practical categories, such as public architectures, community facilities, caring centers, basic life infrastructures, and so forth. Therefore, this research aims to analyze several scope and types of facilities, and establish concrete categories of Life SOC. And we suggested a proper direction for the Gyeonggi Province planning for Life SOC by a comparative research of the current state between statistical quantities and the results of demand survey to figure out the optimized way for a local supply of the life SOC. |
