| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of District Unit Plan through analysis of competition proposals. We analyzed competition proposals for Community Complex Area of 6-3 Life-Zone in Multi-functional Administrative City according to District Unit Plan. The results are as follows : First, design competition requesting the master plan of public area(park) and design of high-density housing area is efficient for urban and street oriented community design. Second, District Unit Plan guidelines such as construction designation line for community facilities and neighborhood living facilities, view corridor, allocation for tower-type housing for pedestrian are valid for relating public area(park) and high-density housing area. Third, the design competition of Community Complex Area of 6-3 Life-Zone in Multi-functional Administrative City for relating public area and housing estate is valid for improving the publicity of architectural design adjacent high-density housing area. |
