Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the present supply condition of seven local living service facilities that target the local living area and to measure inequality that target the autonomous districts in Seoul. An analysis of the supply condition of local living service facilities showed that there were facilities whose supply levels were below in comparison with the average of Seoul, and that some facilities were absent within the local living area. In addition, there were facilities in some local living areas where the incidence of out-of-service areas exceeded 75%. Finally, there was a demand for the supply by residents in all facilities. As a result of measuring the inequality, there were autonomous districts with unequal supply and below the Seoul‘s average at the five facilities. And there were autonomous districts with equal supply and below the Seoul‘s average at the six facilities. Next, there were autonomous districts with unequal accessibility and above the Seoul's average ratio of out-of-service areas at the five facilities. In addition, there were autonomous districts with equal accessibility and above the Seoul's average ratio of out-of-service areas at all seven facilities. Based on the above results, the implications for equal supply of local living service facilities were derived.
