Abstract |
This study was started because there is a possibility that users may not be satisfied with the walking environment of Jungmun due to various problems with the walking environment even though the walking environment improvement project was implemented at Chungbuk National University Jungmun in 2016. The scope of study is near Chungbuk National University Jungmun area. Then, the scope was divided into residential and commercial dominant area. The purpose of this study is to elucidate the factors that affect the overall satisfaction of the pedestrian environment according to regions within the university district. Items for measuring the walking environment were selected in consideration of the frequency in previous studies. The survey was conducted for Chungbuk National University students and general users who had experience in Jungmun. As for the analysis method, regression analysis was performed using the score obtained through factor analysis as an independent variable. As a result, There were differences in factors affecting the overall walking environment by region. Also, the ‘comfort’ in commercial dominant area and the ‘vitality’ in residential dominant area had the greatest impact. |
