Abstract |
This study aims to establish the appropriate indicators of project effect monitoringthat practitioners can utilize at the site of each local government by the type ofurban regeneration projects. The research method verified the adequacy of the derivedindicators by conducting the theoretical review, expert pre-interview, and expertquestionnaire to derive indicators (required, selected, and candidate) by project type, and analyzing the relationships between the indicators by type. The results of thestudy are summarized as follows. First, the minimum essential indicators in this studyare more practical than the comprehensive performance indicators of the Ministry ofLand, Infrastructure, and Transport to apply for the project monitoring. Second, itwas confirmed that the purpose of each type of project and the derived essentialindicators were consistent, and common indicators between essential indicators of thetypes of projects adjacent hierarchically appeared. Third, the main characteristics ofessential indicators by project type were confirmed. In addition, project effectmonitoring should be promoted at all sites using the derived essential indicators. Other indicators need to be efficiently monitored for the project effect of the urbanregeneration project by selectively promoting it according to the characteristics of theurban regeneration plan and the situation by the site. |
