Abstract |
This study aims to suggest the direction of the industrial urban regeneration project inthe future, by identifying the transactional relationship and cooperative network characteristicsby occupancy type for companies that newly moved in through the urban regeneration projectin the Sewoon Plaza. As a result of the analysis, first, the transactional relationship ofthe induced tenant companies through the urban regeneration project consists mainly ofsimple transactions, service-receiving transactions, information exchange between newcompanies, and friendship-promoting relationships. There was a difference in the transactionrelationship by occupancy type, as only relationships and service-receiving transactions weremainly conducted in spontaneous tenant companies. Secondly, as for the cooperative networkby occupancy type, more cooperative networks are formed with the Sewoon Plaza comparedto the induced tenant companies, and the transaction locations are centered on SewoonPlaza, Daelim Plaza, and Districts 3 and 5. Overall, it is assessed to have a positive effecton the urban regeneration project, as the newly induced tenant companies that strategicallymoved in through the urban regeneration project, have relatively more transactions andfriendship networks compared to the spontaneous tenant companies. Based on the resultsof the analysis, the implications of this study are as follows. First, continuous monitoringof changes in the industry, according to future urban regeneration projects, is required. Secondly, it is necessary to flexibly operate the industries and activation programs of basefacilities created through the urban regeneration project so as to activate the business relationshipand cooperative network between new occupants and existing companies. |
