Abstract |
This study aims to explore the factors that affect the ‘possibility of continuous residentship in the province’ and to analyze the influence of affecting factors. And the study is designed to explore their meanings in urban space design strategy. Based on the theoretical research, an empirical model was established using variables related to demographic and social factors, economic factors, and moderating factors that will have impact on the 'possibility of a continuous residentship in the province'. For example, number of household members, number of household members under the age of 15, future household income, period of residence in Gyeongsangnam-do, period of residence in Gyeongsangnam-do cities and counties, average household monthly consumption expenditure, marriage, level of education, tenure type, length of living by city and county, age by city and county, number of household members by tenure type, such variables affected the possibility of continued residence. This study devised a SCET model and a mind map expressing the possibility of continuous residence in the province using research findings. In addition to traditional planning indexes, supplementary use of the mind map will help establish a network compact city plan that reflects the inner thoughts of residents. |
