Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting housing satisfaction by types of old houses that were built more than 20 years ago, based on the threeyears( 2019-2021) data of Korea Housing Survey. As a result of the analysis, first, the residential satisfaction of all old houses was above average, and among them, the satisfaction of apartment residents was the highest. Second, among the influencing factors on satisfaction with apartment housing, all significant variables except ‘disaster safety’ had a positive(+) influence. Third, the factors affecting housing satisfaction for single-family homes, apartments, townhouses, and multi-family homes were the structure of the house, waterproofing, heating and insulation, ventilation, and home crime prevention status. Fourth, the factors that commonly affected satisfaction with the residential environment for all housing types were accessibility to commercial facilities, medical facilities, and public transportation, convenience of using parking facilities, educational environments such as schools and academies, and the level of car horns and noise around the house. Based on these results, this study suggested that there are different things to consider for each housing type when conducting future renovations. |
