Abstract As South Korea approaches a super-aged society by 2025, the need to redesign children’s parks into multi-generational spaces for both the elderly and children is growing. This study evaluated four children's parks in super-aged neighborhoods (dong) of Seoul with age-friendly facilities, analyzing user age distribution, usage behaviors, and park suitability for movement, static, dynamic, and other spaces. Key findings include the need for multi-generational designs that consider age-specific activities. Separating areas for children and seniors or ensuring sufficient distance is necessary to reduce conflicts. Seniors primarily use rest facilities, but social interaction and convenience facilities are lacking; therefore, improvements are necessary. Climate-responsive features such as shaded seating, windbreaks, heated benches, and water fountains are required. Exercise facilities should include stretching and aerobic equipment, with proper spacing for safety. Open spaces for group activities are needed, requiring policy support such as easing green space regulations.
