Abstract |
This study assesses the awareness and perceived effectiveness of the Korea University Anam Campus Town’s regional revitalization project among diverse resident groups in Anam-dong. A questionnaire survey incorporating 17 indicators, which were derived from literature review and stakeholder interviews, was conducted with 173 residents, including 27 foreigners. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 27 revealed significant differences and correlations among variables, offering comprehensive insights into the project’s impact and potential enhancement strategies. The findings suggest that residents with limited awareness of university-led regional revitalization initiatives and their significance tend to perceive fewer positive effects from these projects. Identifying these residents and implementing tailored promotional campaigns and citizen participation programs can contribute to positive perception on regional revitalization effects, thereby furthering rejuvenation objectives of the university-led urban regeneration projects. |
