| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of factors affecting the operation of urban regeneration anchor facilities, focusing on cases operated by social economy organizations engaged in urban regeneration project. As the research method, five categories, such as physical environment, operating entity, financial structure, public support, and governance, were identified along with 30 affecting factors through a review of previous research, in-depth interviews, and brainstorming sessions among the research team. Using expert surveys and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), this study analyzed the importance and priorities of these affecting factors. The analysis results show that among the five categories, financial structure was the most important factor, followed by operating entity. Furthermore, the integrated importance and priority analysis of the 30 factors revealed that the key affecting factors were “capacity and expertise”, “business revenue model”, “labor costs”, “leadership and organizational management”, and “self-financing”. Based on these findings, this study presents policy and practical implications for the sustainable operation of urban regeneration anchor facilities. |
