| Abstract |
This study analyzes changes within the Local Community that emerged during the operation of Urban Regeneration Facilities in the Changsin-Sungin Area. Through document analysis and in-depth interviews with Local Community members involved in facility management, the study identifies internal organizational changes, shifts in network structures, and implications for sustainable facility operation. The findings show that facility operations led to the identification of new residents, expanded participation, and the diversification and professionalization of community activities. Networks connecting residents with internal and external organizations were formed, along with collaborations among Urban Regeneration Facilities in the area. These community-level changes, shaped by evolving local and administrative conditions, influenced facility programs and functions. As a result, the Urban Regeneration Facilities in the Changsin-Sungin Area have become spaces for resident interaction, platforms for small-scale job creation, and venues for artistic and cultural activities, providing a foundation for community regeneration and sustainable operation. |
