| Abstract |
This study analyzes how the proliferation of generative AI and physical AI is reshaping urban labor structures, spatial production, and everyday sensory experience, applying the theories of Hannah Arendt, Henri Lefebvre, and Walter Benjamin as critical interpretive lenses. Grounded in a normative and interpretive literature review informed by critical urban theory, the study synthesizes the three thinkers' concepts into an integrated analytical framework of subject, power, and sense, typologizing four scenarios of urban restructuring along two axes ? modes of AI integration and the locus of governance. On this basis, four urban design strategies are proposed: designing urban space as a public realm, institutionally guaranteeing spatial sovereignty, recovering contingency and place identity, and designing integrated governance. The study ultimately argues that urban restructuring in the age of AI is not a matter of technical optimization, but a normative and design challenge oriented toward preserving human dignity, publicness, and spatial autonomy. |
