| Abstract |
This paper proposes a design and control method for an LCC-LCC compensation network for high-efficiency operation of an 11 kW 2-stage wireless power transfer system for electric vehicles. The limitations of applying a conventional compensation network design to a 2-stage IPT converter are analyzed, and a design and control method is developed based on the output characteristics with respect to the coupling coefficient and battery charging profile. The proposed method is validated through PSIM-based loss analysis, and experimental results from a hardware prototype verify its effectiveness. |
