Abstract	Korea has set up a roadmap, implemented demonstration, and commercialized the smartgrid and ESS supply for more than 10 years to expand them. However, specific purpose and action plan are not reflected in the future electricity supply and demand plan. Therefore, it is very timely to analyze, identify and discuss the impact of renewable energy on electricity demand at the time of the 8th power supply and demand plan. This study estimates the "increase and decrease" that occurs as a result of affecting electric power demand in the ESS and Smart Grid sectors that are not reflected in the 8th power supply and demand plan.
