Abstract Carbon neutrality, in which the amount of emission minus the absorption of greenhouse gas emissions becomes zero, is an international agreement to keep the earth's temperature rise and it is an effort to maintain the guarantee for the earth's future.
However, the power supply and economic loss are inevitable to temporarily stop the thermal power plant, which accounts for 40% of the power generation. Therefore, it is unavoidable to reduce the total amount of dust emitted from currently operating facilities as much as possible and gradually switch to eco-friendly energy. The purpose of this study is to suggest the optimal operating conditions of an Electrostatic Precipitator by studying the effect of the input amount of NH3, which adjusts the specific resistance of dust, and the operating temperature of the Boiler on the electric dust collection rate to reduce dust emission by collecting fine dust generated in thermal power plants.
