Abstract |
The early development of a control algorithm for a new energy system is typically achieved with simulations. Simulation needs models, and whole component models must be developed for describing the target system. As model developments are time-consuming, it is recommended to use existing component models. For most of the cases, the existing models cannot fully represent the whole performance of the test system. In this work, we propose optimal parameters and inputs of the exiting models to describe a domestic AHU. This system is modeled with a combination of the Trnsys component models, and the PSO optimization is carried out to get the optimal variables. By means of the methodologies proposed in this work, the proposed optimized model can describe the domestic AHU, and simulations with the model can also adequately describe the system dynamics. Further studies are required to validate the model in various conditions since the model is developed only on a single test condition. |
