Abstract |
The underground parking lot of all commercial and residential buildings constructed recently are composed of large sized, multi-storey buildings. However, the area of the exhaust tower installed in the underground parking lot is narrowly provided, leading to poor ventilation in any space located at the lower part. This happens because a flow resistance is generated by the discharged air in the upper layer in the course of the upward movement of the air discharged from the lower layer. In order to solve these problems mechanically, this study was conducted to investigate the degree of improvement of the exhaust performance of each floor through the installation of a blade at the front of the blower to dissipate the flow resistance generated by the airflow discharged to the exhaust tower. |
