Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to suggest the design criteria for fuel cell capacity and heat storage capacity through the analysis of operating profit and loss for fuel cell systems in a public office building. The results are as follow : (1) The best operating method of the fuel cell system was the strategy that operated only when the cost-benefit is generated by responding to the total load treatment using the heat storage tank. (2) It was most suitable that the fuel cell capacity was 50% or less of the peak hourly domestic hot water loads. (3) The best economical capacity of the thermal energy storage tank was 60L/kW compared to the fuel cell capacity. |
