Abstract |
The hybrid thermal storage system has been considered an effective heat source system for addressing power demand management and the imbalance between the cooling and heating loads. In this study, the thermal storage performance of the hybrid thermal storage systems was evaluated by the field demonstration test that performed up to the midnight electricity equipment technical specifications of the Korea Electric Power Corporation. As a result, the averages of the total energy use efficiency were calculated at 2.15 kWh/kWh for cooling and at 2.59 kWh/kWh for heating respectively, exceeding the reference values of the by 23.6% and 39.2% for the cooling and heating mode. |
