Abstract |
Recently, the demand for dehumidification devices in summer has rapidly increased in Korea due to climate change. However, there is no method to evaluate the periodic efficiency of the gesture system. The application of the existing IEER plan requires a weighted coefficient corresponding to domestic weather conditions. In this study, a method of evaluating the cooling period efficiency of dehumidification ventilation systems was proposed for desiccant dehumidification ventilation devices used in Korea. The analysis showed that the average of four regions with dehumidifying latent heat loads per unit area was 26.3 W/m2. The frequency of appearance of latent heat dehumidification loads in Korea was very low, within the range exceeding partial load rate of 50%. IEER, which are existing evaluation methods, were compared to the simulation results and the difference in the portion of the partial load rate of 75% was particularly large, therefore suggesting that an analysis of the appropriate evaluation method is required. In order to measure period efficiency, it is necessary to apply a weighted coefficient to the measured efficiency results under partial loads of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, instead of the actual measurement procedure for a long period of time. |
