Abstract |
The majority of our modern life is spent indoors, and with this comes an increased emphasis on the importance of indoor comfort for the occupants. This applies not only to residential or office spaces but also to transportation; passenger comfort in public transportation such as buses is also required. However, there is a lack of research on the expected thermal sensation, which is one of the factors that determine indoor comfort in buses and mean radiant temperature, which has a significant impact on thermal sensation. Therefore, this study analyzes the heat flow characteristics in the vehicle according to the supply air volume, number of passengers, and set temperature for a city bus in summer, and evaluates the Mean Radiant Temperature (MRT) and Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) obtained from it. |
