Abstract To implement long-distance transmission and reception of signals in the water, low frequency acoustic waves should be used for low attenuation of underwater signals. However, the underwater acoustic transducers used in generating the acoustic wave, have widely variable impedance characteristics as well as large capacitive components depending on the driving frequency bands. The high-power transmitter should be designed properly to drive such acoustic transducers safely, reliably and efficiently. This paper proposes the efficient high-power transmitter for the acoustic transducers. The proposed high-power transmitter improved about the efficiency and THD(Total Harmonic Distortion).
