Abstract The military also recognizes the economic problems of fossil fuel internal combustion engines and the seriousness of environmental destruction, and cannot help but consider the application of eco-friendly vehicles to military vehicles. Therefore, this study focused on what to do with internal combustion engine military vehicles that have been developed and operated so far and how to adopt a hybrid method. In the future, military combat vehicles should also use a hybrid format to consider the economy and environment and combine various and complex theories and technologies for efficient tactics and strategies. In this study, military tactical and strategic factors were quantified or introduced as variables, and the results of analyzing the characteristics and efficiency of hybrid vehicles were established and analyzed in a mutual relationship. Therefore, it was possible to reliably and reasonably measure the integerization of development factors, parameterization, and characteristic factors of hybrid vehicles. From this approach, meticulous design is required for the development elements of military vehicles, and the items will have to become standards for military vehicles. Therefore, it was considered that the efficiency of hybrid transformation should be suitable for combat and non-combat as the optimal level for hybrid adoption for military vehicles. Hybridization of military vehicles will be the best mechanism when the latest technology of hybrid vehicles is applied and effective maneuverability is demonstrated even during combat
