He received his B.S. degree in School of Information and Communication Engineering, from Sungkyunkwan University, Korea, in 2004.

He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in School of Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, Korea, in 2006 and 2013, respectively.

He worked for Korea Electrical Engineering & Science Institute, Seoul, Korea, as a researcher in power system division from 2006 to 2009.

He was Post-doctor at Yeungnam University in 2013.

Since 2014, he has been an associate professor in the School of Electronic&Electrical Engineering, Yonam Institute of Technology, Korea.

His research interests include power system analysis, transients, and protection.
