Abstract |
In this study, a simulation model is developed to analyze the economic effect and optimize the capacity of distributed sources before applying the microgrid to industrial customers. Electricity rates for domestic industrial customers are classified into the basic rate determined by the maximum demand power and the electricity rate determined by the actual amount of power used. Among them, the electricity rate is determined according to season and time zone (light load, heavy load, maximum load). Therefore, when operating the microgrid, if the battery is operated based on the change in the electricity charges over time, it can be expected to have a great effect in terms of reducing the electricity charges. This model uses matlab / simulink software and creates a simulation model with actual power usage, PV generation and ESS. One of Matlab's functions, the optimization function, is used to verify the economic effect of adjusting the operation time of the battery according to the amount of solar power generation and hourly electricity charges. |
