Abstract Underwater guided torpedoes sailing in the water have developed a propulsion system to overcome the limitations of slow speed and short range and to send them farther and faster. In all underwater weapon systems, the share of propulsion is fundamentally more important than in any other sector, especially since torpedoes account for almost 50% of the space and weight of the electric propulsion system. In this section, we will examine the propulsion system currently used as a torpedo propulsion system.
