Abstract |
In this paper, the design of linear generator for wave energy conversion is studied through wave energy system design. The wave energy system is designed through the mass and spring system. In the designed wave energy system, the specification of permanent magnet linear synchronous generator (PMLSG) is obtained using the principle of energy conversion. The basic design of PMLSG is performed considering the constraint of wave energy system considering the resistance load using the external circuit. Furthermore, the detent force of PMLSG is optimized using the parametric analysis. As a result, the PMLSG is designed considering the design of the wave energy system and optimization of the detent force. |
