Abstract |
Recently, with the increase of the 4th industrial revolution and electric vehicle infrastructure, the supply of power conversion devices has increased, and accordingly, the amount of reactive power and harmonics flowing into the grid has increased. If the parameter of the passive filter part of the hybrid active power filter for decreasing the THD is not properly designed to match the system, efficiency degradation due to control error and overcompensation of reactive power may occur, leading power factor. In order to properly design the capacity of the passive filter of the hybrid active power filter, this paper proposes a capacity selection method that considers harmonics and reactive power at the same time. The performance when considering the passive filter as the proposed method was compared through simulation. As a result, THD was minimized and the target power factor could be reached. |
