Abstract |
Analysis algorithm of a TEM (thermoelectric module) applied dehumidifier was presented. This algorithm can be used to analyze the dehumidification capacity, power consumption, the coefficient of performance and dehumidification efficiency of the TEM applied dehumidifier. When the input voltage is low or too high, the temperature of the cold side of a TEM is higher than the dew point temperature of the air, resulting in only cooling of the air and not dehumidification. The applied voltage for the maximum dehumidification efficiency and maximum dehumidification capacity are different. The higher air humidity results in the higher dehumidification efficiency and capacity. |
