Abstract |
The aim of this study was to analyze the NOx reduction performance of various photocatalysts such as coating agents, paints, and shotcrete used in actual building enclosures. Prior to the on-site assessment of photocatalytic coating agents, paints and shotcrete, a pre-test under laboratory environment was conducted to analyze the NOx reduction performance of photocatalyst technology based on ISO-22197-1. The method used for the pre-test analysis of NOx reduction performance was used to evaluate photocatalytic applications on the exterior of three buildings in Seoul. In the field test, the application of photocatalyst coating, paint and shotcrete on building walls succesfully removed NOx. The scope of the study investigating NOx reduction performance evaluation was established for NO. |
