Abstract |
To cope with the obligatory zero-energy building, power consumption of low-energy buildings with solar modules installed and energy saving effects of energy storage devices were analyzed. (1) The installed PV module (36 kW) generated 45,000 kWh of electricity annually, supplying 22% of the electricity needed for the building. (2) Since power consumed by the boiler was very high, the power consumption in winter was about four times higher than that in the summer. (3) Energy consumption in the building peaked between 10 o’clock and 14 o’clock, but the actual peak period decreased by about 9 kWh from 6 to 8 o’clock and from 18 to 2 o’clock due to solar power generation. (4) The ESS was operated for two months (September-October) with a peak target value set at 10 kW. Peak control was available for most of the period. Power grid consumption was reduced by 5.83% during the measurement. |
