Abstract |
Heat recovery ventilators (HRV) are among the major technologies for energy saving and improved indoor air quality. This paper investigated the performance and evaluation standard of HRV. Public data were used for the HRV performance analysis of HRV. The performance distribution (n=788) according to the air volume of the certified HRV was investigated and analyzed In addition, the performance distribution (n=171) by air volume after applying an air filter to reduce fine dust was investigated. The average total heat exchange efficiency for cooling was 54.2% in group 1 and 59.7% in group 2. The average total heat exchange efficiency during heating was 73.4% in group 1 and 74.3% in group 2. It was confirmed that they existed at a similar level without significant change. |
