Abstract |
In addition to the global carbon-neutral policy, heat pumps are attracting attention as boiler replacement devices. Industries are requesting the development of higher-temperature heat pumps in their processes. Research is being actively conducted on the development of very high-temperature heat pump cycles and related component parts. In this study, basic research was conducted on a supercritical gas cooler using R1336mzz(Z) as part of the development of a heat pump for 160 ℃ steam production. The heat transfer characteristics of R1336mzz(Z) were analyzed through single-tube experiments, and a dimensionless correlation for the Nusselt number was proposed. |
