| Abstract |
The modernism is the most important design movement in 20th century which has an influence even these days. The many designers made a contribution to the achievement of Modernism. Eileen Gray was the one of those designers. In this point of view this study analyzes design tendency of Eileen Gray's through her works which had been designed during the 30years from 1907 to 1937. The results of this study are as follows. 1. The tendency of total design to approach the process of architectural, interior and furniture design with the same concept.2. To achieve importance to the functions based on mechanical aesthetics, revealed in interior and furniture design. 3. The acceptance and experimental use of new materials like a steel and glass.4.
