Publishing Schedule and Access
The Journal of the Korean Institute of Interior Design is published monthly as the official academic journal of the Korean Institute of Interior Design, founded in 1992. There are currently about 5,000 registered members, including graduate students, professors, design offices, and research institutes in the field of interior architecture. Papers may be submitted at any time and are published when they pass the review. Published papers may be viewed through Open Access on the Journal's website.
The Korean Institute of Interior Design's revenue comes from the support of the publisher (the Korean Institute of Interior Design), the Korean Government, and publication of the Journal.
The Korean Institute of Interior Design does not allow paid advertisements for publications (journal or website).
The Journal of the Korean Institute of Interior Design is disseminated through the Journal’s website.
The Korean Institute of Interior Design is working hard to preserve academic research materials permanently. The Institute has partnered with the National Science Foundation of Korea to keep academic research materials.
