| Abstract |
The order of nature is suited to the purpose, structurally stabilized, and functional. Beside, it varies constantly in form and has more rational and aesthetical form than that of science, technology, and art. Man who essentially lives within nature has need for coming close to nature. Considering the purpose of interior design is to contain the fundamental form of life, nature that man needs should be applied to interior design. Especially, since furniture is both a practical instrument and an aesthetic instrument to create artistic beauty in the room, it should represent nature more aesthetically. Furniture design, based on understanding of an organic characteristic of nature and its creative expression, will be a living instrument that meets man`s aesthetic need and desire for stabilization. In addition, furniture design will create a human living environment harmonized with nature. |
